Yospace has announced the launch of its Ad Presentation solution, enabling non-linear ad formats to be deployed at scale.
Aiming to open up new inventory for broadcasters, Ad Presentation supports non-linear formats being standardised by the IAB Tech Lab’s Ad Format Hero initiative, such as pause ads, overlays, squeezebacks and L-banners. The solution provides greater flexibility, enabling contextual ad placements and attribution tools linking views to sales conversions.
Deployable within existing streaming workflows, the solution works across live, VoD and FAST services. Content can be delivered either via Server-Side Ad Insertion (SSAI) or Server-Guided Ad Insertion (SGAI), allowing new formats to be unlocked without the need for device-specific implementations.
One-to-one addressable non-linear ads enable contextual targeting and there is potential to place ads alongside key content, enabling advertisers to maximise settings favourable to their brand. QR codes can be dynamically generated at device level for each viewer.
Yospace’s real-time device intelligence ensures only data that can be rendered correctly on the end-user device is delivered, preserving viewer experience, broadcaster trust and advertiser outcomes, said the company.
Commenting, Tim Sewell, CEO at Yospace, said, “Yospace has always been guided by the needs of our customers, the broadcasters, both on the streaming and advertising teams. The development of our Ad Presentation solution has come as a direct result of these close working relationships. Thanks to the work of the IAB for the first time, broadcasters and streaming providers are able to offer advertisers high quality standardised non-linear ad formats no matter what, and how, the end viewer is watching. We believe the combination of this standards-based approach, combined with the ease of implementation offered by our Ad Presentation solution will unlock significant incremental demand for our broadcaster customers.”
