Thematic VoD services will now be featured on Hisense smart TVs worldwide, following a partnership deal between the VoD services company and Chinese consumer electronics house.
MoffettNathanson revealed recently that during Q1 of 2015, the pay-TV industry lost an estimated net total of 86,000 subscribers – marking the first time the cable industry sustained an actual net loss, and the signalling potential end of traditional content consumption. Vonetize provides content services to smart TVs and connected devices with a focus on emerging economies, and is already distributing video content to millions of viewers worldwide.
