Virgin Media’s TV Go app has been updated to allow viewers to download content.
Subscribers to Virgin’s Full House and VIP packages can download programmes to compatible phones and tablets, the app works with both iOS and Android.
Virgin Media is offering more than 2,000 episodes of programming as well as exclusive box sets. Once a downloaded programme has been started, Virgin TV customers have 48 hours to complete it before it expires on the app.
David Bouchier, Virgin Media’s chief digital entertainment officer, said: “Whether it’s bingeing on a box set on the beach or catching up on a comedy on a plane or train, our customers can download the best entertainment on the box direct to their phones or tablets with the Virgin TV Go app.”
