Three launches 5G home broadband

Initially available in Camden, Camberwell and Southwark

Three has become the latest carrier to launch a 5G network, currently limited to home broadband in London.

Three’s 5G router can support up to 64 devices and is expected to come to smartphones before the end of the year.

Initially the network will only be available in Camden, Camberwell and Southwark. However, Three plans to have 5G available in 25 towns and cities by the end of 2019.

Vodafone launched its own 5G network last week, following EE’s lead earlier this year.
