Sky Italia and Vodafone will partner on the first live new broadcast via 5G today.
At 5pm local time, the two companies will partner on the transmission from La Scala in Milan.
Sky said the crew will report on the arrival of celebrities at the event which will be broadcast on SkyTG24.
The event will be filmed using a camera connected to a local encoder that sends a high resolution audio-video stream to Sky’s control room, where the director can choose between the live broadcast or post-production operations.
