Italian broadcaster RAI has announced its 4K channel will now broadcast for 12 hours a day.
The channel, which originally launched in 2016, will include live sport and high-end dramas in its line-up.
RAI 4K is available on free satellite platform tivùsat.
“With this initiative, RAI confirms its technological leadership in the Italian television system and its role as a driving force for innovation,” said the broadcaster in a statement.
