Mediapro has announced it is partnering with YouTube to bring content from this summer’s Pan American Games to a larger audience.
The deal enables fans in over 150 countries to watch live action from Lima for the first time, via Mediapro’s YouTube channel which is broadcasting 24 hours a day.
According to Mediapro, the channel has already seen 200,000 impressions and been watched for 400,000. Spain, Italy, the UK, Japan and Australia head the list for the most views by country.
The company said the agreement is “pioneering” because it is the first time they have used their YouTube channel to broadcast an event of such magnitude.
