BeIN Sports has reached an agreement with Samsung to deliver all Real Madrid and FC Barcelona La Liga games in 4K through its OTT platform, beIN Connect.
The games will only be available in Spain through the beIN streaming app for Samsung 4K smart TVs.
Each week, one of the games will be available live in 4K, while the other will be available on-demand.
“Through this agreement, we aim to strengthen our leading position and our bet on high quality content to meet users’ demands,” said Raul Martín, VP, consumer electronics, Samsung España.
The service is available this weekend for beIN Connect subscribers owning a 4K TV set. The Alavés vs. Real Madrid game will be delivered live in 4K, while the Girona vs. FC Barcelona will be available on-demand.
