MioEverywhere software from media logistics provider Nativ has been selected by Vubiquity to manage assets and workflows within its AnyVU Cloud video services platform.
The platform offers a set of modular services that include access to a library of licensed content, on-demand and linear delivery to set-top boxes and direct-to-subscriber streaming. The AnyVU Cloud platform aims to open up multiplatform video capabilities to any type of service provider.
“AnyVU Cloud changes the rules for designing, testing and deploying new video services,” said Brendan Sullivan, executive vice president, global operations and technology, Vubiquity. “To build a next generation platform of this scale required a modern, cloud-deployable solution that could scale with our business. Nativ’s MioEverywhere more than fit the bill, providing a secure multitenant product that gives our cloud platform a reliable foundation on which to build.”
Jon Folland, CEO, Nativ, added, “As a pioneer of media logistics platforms, we’re delighted that Vubiquity has chosen to work with Nativ. The way Vubiquity is using our media logistics platform perfectly illustrates how MLPs can be used to manage content at scale, increase automation and respond quickly to a rapidly changing market.”
