Timeline North creates remote post production workflow for The Amelia Gething Complex

Timeline North provided both on-location edit facilities and remote post production

Timeline North provided on-location edit facilities as well as a remote post production workflow for the second series of the BBC’s The Amelia Gething Complex.

The company, based in MediaCityUK, provided on-location edit facilities at Manchester Studios and a mix of remote and local post production for series two of the show, which debuts on BBC iPlayer on 19th March.

The team created a remote post-production workflow to enable the offline editor to complete the offline and fine cut from home, streaming the Avid output to the show’s producer either at home or in Timeline’s post facility.

In addition to the offline and fine cut, the grade and VFX were also done remotely.

“The online this year was a lot of fun. The effects are even more ambitious than series one and I’m excited for everyone to see it,” said in-house editor Ross McAdam.

The teen comedy will also be broadcast on BBC Two in April.
