Lawo has announced the release of its tenth HOME app.
The latest member of the HOME apps suite, the HOME DSK Multi-Layer Downstream Keyer provides production operators with keying and mixing capabilities and enables additional channel branding, based on triggers issued through the VSM control system.
Supporting SMPTE ST2110 (including JPEG XS), NDI, SRT, and Dante AV transport, the HOME Downstream Keyer can be deployed in both SDR and HDR workflows.
John Carter, Lawo’s senior product manager, media infrastructure, said, “HOME Downstream Keyer allows operators to simultaneously and independently transition up to three key layers over an A/B background mix. As Lawo’s first mixing processing app, it comes with eight ST 2110-20 receivers and two ST 2110-20 transmitters. Each of the three Keyers can perform Luma, Linear or Self keying to provide the desired processing for high-end broadcast graphics designed with transparency and drop shadows.”
The solution can be licensed perpetually or used on an ad-hoc basis through Lawo Flex Subscription credits, said the company.
