I-MOVIX to show X10 ultra-motion system at IBC

Belgian company I-MOVIX will be showcasing its new product I-MOVIX X10, claimed to be the industry’s first live ultra-motion solution to deliver realtime, continuous extreme slow motion in full HD at 300 fps (or 600 fps in 720p).

Belgian company I-MOVIX will be showcasing its new product I-MOVIX X10, claimed to be the industry’s first live ultra-motion solution to deliver realtime, continuous extreme slow motion in full HD at 300 fps (or 600 fps in 720p).

“At IBC2012 I-MOVIX is showing the most exciting new ultra-slow motion technology on the market, including the latest developments of the new X10 system, which is now in demonstration with customers all over the world,” said Laurent Renard, CEO.

The X10 far outstrips the performance of existing continuous super-slow motion systems, which are restricted to three times slower than realtime, or 75 fps. Developed in partnership with EVS, the X10 system is used with an EVS XT3 production server under LSM control and provides a familiar user interface and controls that any broadcast crew can use immediately without any special training.

The renowned I-MOVIX SprintCam Vvs HD will also be on show with new features included in the 1.2 software release, which refine and enhance functionality in response to input from the global community of SprintCam users.

The new software release boasts major improvements to operational efficiency, image quality, and ease of use. New enhancements for all four components of the SprintCam Vvs HD system (camera, CCU, OCP, and slow-motion remote) allow operators to use all the capabilities of the ultra-motion technology in a simpler and more efficient way, and to provide ultra-slow motion images of extraordinary quality.
