Belfast Harbour Studios has announced it will now be operated by MBS Group.
Developed in 2017 and further expanded last year, Belfast Harbour Studios features more than 107,000 square feet of soundstages alongside workshops and production offices at its Giant’s Park location. In June, the company also announced Studio Ulster, Northern Ireland’s largest virtual production studio developed in partnership between Belfast Harbour, Ulster University and NI Screen.
Representing more than 650 soundstages globally, The MBS Group is the world’s largest studio operator and production equipment company with a portfolio including AmazonMGM’s Culver Studios, Netflix’s Raleigh Studios Hollywood, UX1 Studios London and more. The company currently operates 13 studio campuses across the British Isles. With 50 studio campuses across eight countries, MBS services nearly 1,000 film and HETV productions each year.
