Winnersh Film Studios, which entered administration in April 2024, has reopened after European investment firm SCIO Capital agreed a 30-year lease on the facility.
Following the site’s original owner’s collapse into administration, the site had been earmarked for demolition.
However, SCIO Capital agreed a new lease, and the studios have now officially reopened.
Renamed Parkside Studios, the location offers two sound stages of approximately 20,000 sq ft each, together with workshops, offices and support space.
According to SCIO Capital, its new lease ensures the long-term availability of the facility while also providing stability for local crews and businesses in the Berkshire region.
SCIO Capital also owns Wycombe Film Studios in Buckinghamshire.
