Mediaproxy has upgraded its Monwall multiviewer platform
The latest version of the solution incorporates two new features aiming to meet the evolving demands of broadcasters and media operators.
Designed to enable users to quickly identify and address issues without interrupting operations, Instant Replay enables incidents occurring during live broadcasts to be immediately reviewed. Leveraging both a web interface and physical control surface, mosaic outputs can be rewound for instant analysis. The interface ensures live monitoring is unaffected, allowing real-time and historic media to be viewed in parallel.
The feature can scale across multiple mosaics, enabling comprehensive review workflows in numerous display environments. Teams are able to conduct frame-level analysis across all monitored sources. Additionally, a low-latency web browser interface allows remote work without compromising on speed or functionality, said the company, addressing demand for flexible, location-independent broadcast management.
Monwall’s new HTML content monitoring feature provides the capability for HTML PIPs (picture-in-picture) to be added to any mosaic output or the interactive multiviewer client. Users can track any web dashboard alongside traditional broadcast feeds. Sites with dynamic video content including YouTube, Hulu, Roku, Fubo and more can be integrated directly with the multiviewer, enabling monitoring ot both traditional and web-based sources in a single interface,
Commenting on the upgrade, Erik Otto, CEO of Mediaproxy, said, “We are proud to be once more leading the way with innovative features. Being able to have high-quality instant replay within our ecosystem of monitoring tools will significantly reduce the time it takes to investigate and clear on-air incidents. The addition of HTML data panels in both our interactive server-side multiviewers further underline our commitment to solving real-world problems for customers today.”
