Mediapro Belgium and DAZN deliver Belgian football’s largest ever TV production

The deployment included a total of 27 cameras and three DAZN OB trucks

DAZN and Mediapro Belgium have revealed details of their work to deliver coverage of the 2026 Croky Cup Final.

Deploying what the companies said were “unprecedented technical resources” in support of Belgian football’s largest ever TV production, a total of 27 cameras and three DAZN OB trucks enabled a “highly immersive and spectacular broadcast experience.” The camera fleet included two Super Slow Motion cameras, seven wireless cameras, drone and selfiecam units.

Aiming to provide maximum operational flexibility, real-time content sharing and editorial consistency across feeds, DAZN dedicated its OB23 unit to the international feed, with OB86 and OB58 respectively producing the Flemish and French production feeds.

In a first for Belgium, a chest-mounted stabilised referee camera developed by Mediapro Group subsidiary Omni4Sky was used during the game. The solution included an RCP system enabling live shading control and management of other critical parameters.

Graphics were provided by WTvision, another Mediapro Group member, including augmented reality statistics as well as advanced graphical match analysis tools.
