NDI has debuted NDI 6.3, which introduces advanced discovery, real-time monitoring, and sender-level diagnostics that allow operators to identify issues like packet loss or jitter before they impact production.
Enabling real-time monitoring of multiple active sources, NDI 6.3 now supports HDCP-enabled devices, expanding secure workflows and meeting requirements for encrypted sources, licensed playback devices or end-to-end content protection.
Head of NDI, Miguel Coutinho, commented, “NDI 6.3 is the final step of the journey we started with the release of 6.0. This latest release establishes NDI into the world of large video installations by allowing monitoring and control of both senders and receivers, no matter the size of the network.”
Additionally, the new version supports Agilex 7 FPGA chipset enablement, expanding hardware support and strengthening the NDI ecosystem for high-performance deployments.
Enhancing visibility and reliability across video workflows, NDI 6.3 features sender-level monitoring, real-time stream statistics and enhanced performance across mid-to-large deployments. New SDK capabilities allow developers to benefit from features including APIs that enable sender devices and applications to publish stream information, enhanced discovery services with programmatic access on Windows and Linux and expanded support for HDCP and Agilex 7 FPGA-based hardware.
