Making its European debut is a solar-powered FM transmitter/retransmitter. Offering hybrid AC power, SOLAR FM can broadcast for up to 10 hours over 10km on solar power alone and for even longer using its hybrid power source.
Designed for areas with limited electrical infrastructure or for temporary installations, SOLAR FM can receive audio from a number of different sources, such as its inbuilt satellite and FM receivers or analogue and AES inputs, and broadcast to remote communities, festivals and disaster relief areas.
A smartphone app provides full configuration capabilities and enables daily scheduling of operations to make best use of solar power when available and rely on the AC connection when not.
SOLAR FM is supplied as a turnkey system with solar panel, FM antennas, satellite dish or antenna and the robust FM transmitter.
