QA and file transfer tools unveiled

The DVMon XS monitoring probe and DVStor Incremental File Transfer are being unveiled by Torque Video Systems at IBC.

The paperback-sized Torque DVMon XS offers the same functionality as the company’s larger DVMon probe. It offers a flexible user interface running on any standards-compliant web browser, as well as IP monitoring, ASI transport stream monitoring and template verification, with a single input.

The newly introduced Incremental File Transfer is said to be ideal for news organisations monitoring overseas news broadcasts who want full resolution clips back at their home studio.

Danny Wilson, founder and CEO, Torque Video Systems, said: “Despite its compact form factor, the DVMon XS offers the same features, power and legendary ease of use as the multi-port DVMon.

We are also energised by the launch of our latest DVStor application for near-live file transport, and how it can transform operational processes in this industry.”
