Sunset + Vine scores Women’s World Cup qualifiers

Third time Sunset+Vine has been awarded the contract to produce England Women’s home games in a major tournament qualifying series

Sunset + Vine has been awarded the contract to produce coverage of the FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifiers for the BBC for the third time.

The company will cover England Women’s four home matches in the FIFA World Cup 2019 Qualifiers, and the SSE Women’s FA Cup Final 2018 at Wembley.

It’s the third time Sunset+Vine has been awarded the contract to produce the England Women’s home games in a major tournament qualifying series following on the 2017 European Championships Qualifying and Women’s FIFA World Cup Qualifiers 2015. It will also be the fifth year in a row that Sunset+Vine produces the FA’s showpiece event in women’s football for the corporation.

Sunset+Vine’s Scotland office will produce live coverage of the Lionesses’ matches, starting with the game against Russia on 19th September, as well as the production and presentation for the Women’s FA Cup Final 2018. The BBC’s coverage for the qualifiers will be hosted by Gabby Logan who will be joined by former footballers Alex Scott, Rachel Brown-Finnis and Kelly Smith.
