German streaming platform Zattoo has announced the appointment of Bert Schulzki to the dual role of chief product and technology officer.
He takes over from former CTO, Stefan Lietsch, and CPO, Peter Siciliano, who are both leaving the company.
Schulzki will lead Zattoo’s operations, engineering, product, design and data analytics divisions. He joins the company from Germany’s largest vehicle marketplace, where he was director of engineering.
Speaking about the appointment, Nick Brambring, CEO of Zattoo, said: “We are excited to have Bert with us as CPTO. In his previous roles Bert has proven his ability to develop strong teams to build great products and scalable platforms. Together we will work on our mission to free TV from broadcast restrictions.”
“I am delighted about this new and big challenge. The team working with Nick and the great potential offered by Zattoo convinced me, and I am sure that together we can reach the next evolutionary stage for the product and the platform,” added Schulzki.
