Escape Studios obtains UKVI licence to support international students

The newly acquired UKVI licence enables Escape Studios to recruit and retain international students

Escape Studios has announced it has obtained a UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) licence, enabling it to accept and sponsor international students.

The London-based animation, video games and VFX school aims to offer increased support to international students looking to enter the creative industries. The newly acquired UKVI approved sponsor licence enables Escape Studios to recruit and retain international students on a UK Student Route visa. With applications now open for 2024 undergraduate and postgraduate courses, Escape said it is increasing its course capacities to accommodate increased numbers from the Spring 2024 term onwards.

Dr Ian Palmer, Principal of Escape Studios said,We are delighted to open our doors to international applicants for our undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. For over twenty years, we have been at the forefront of education for the creative industries, growing our original offer of highly focused education and training for VFX studios into games, animation and motion graphics. Over that time, we have helped thousands of students join the global creative industries and now that we can sponsor international applicants, we look forward to our Escape community being even more rich and diverse as a result and can’t wait to welcome our next generation of future Escapees.”
