Chyron takes wraps off Quintette

Chyron has unveiled Quintette, the latest system in a line of newsroom graphics, management and distribution solutions that the company claims “offer broadcasters the best value and return on investment in the industry.”

Quintette offers a full turnkey solution, including integrated electronic ordering and graphics asset management and collaborative cloud tools, not to mention comprehensive and dynamic business intelligence and reporting built right into the system.

Quintette is built on Chyron’s Lyric real-time graphics technology, with full intelligent transition and 3D animation support. The complete system is pre-packaged with remote system installation, setup and testing.

In addition to seamless workflow management, Chyron says that the benefits of Quintette include: integration of Adobe’s XMP metadata management structure and “smart assets” adding sophisticated intelligence to graphics workflow and management; collaboration tools for sharing stories, assets and templates; support for multiple workflow hubs; 4 Video/Key Play-out Channels; and the ability to continuously update persistent objects, rolls, crawls, clocks, timers and more from live data feeds.

“We are really excited about bringing Quintette to market. The workflow and cost benefits of this exciting turnkey system are tremendous. Quintette offers high-end newsroom workflow and ROI benefits to all our clients without compromise. The time is right for Quintette as we support our clients needs during this interesting period,” said Michael Wellesley-Wesley President and CEO, Chyron.
