Flying with System T Cloud

Solid State Logic's virtualised system for mixing broadcast audio in the cloud will be launched at the NAB Show

As more broadcasters look to the cloud to reduce costs and deliver more flexible workflows, Solid State Logic has announced the launch of System T Cloud, a virtualised audio mixing solution for live-to-air broadcast.

Described as “a fully-fledged cloud system created to address the real-world needs of broadcasters”,  System T Cloud aims to deliver a feature set and interface that System T hardware users are already accustomed to. Delivering management of live productions from multiple venues via the cloud, it offers fully virtualised processing, control and audio routing with up to 256 processing paths. It also supports stereo, 5.1 and full immersive formats up to 7.1.4 with 9.1.6 monitoring.

Fully integrated Dante Connect implementation provides the Virtual Tempest Engine with 256 x 256 inputs and outputs, while audio routing control can be managed directly from the UI and stored and recalled with the showfile.

The result of two years of development alongside fellow Audiotonix partner Calrec Audio, SSL says that any combination of hardware and software control interfaces can be utilised across a distributed production architecture to deliver a unified operator experience.

System T Cloud will make its global debut at the NAB Show in Las Vegas.
