ThinkAnalytics and Bimovin have entered a strategic partnership.
Integrating Bitmovin’s AI Scene Analysis into ThinkAnalytics’ ThinkMediaAI platform, the collaboration aims to enable the transformation of raw video into structured metadata, allowing streamers to provide smarter recommendations and enhanced viewer engagement.
Using multi-modal AI, Bitmovin’s AI Scene Analysis automatically generates metadata reflecting the context of every scene, enabling rapid discoverability and expanding monetisation opportunities, said the company.
The ThinkMedia AI platform unifies audience, content and metadata intelligence aiming to allow service providers to maximise the value of their first-party data through personalisation, metadata enrichment and targeted advertising across linear, CTV and streaming environments.
Contextual, scene-by-scene data about the content being viewed is captured by Bitmovin’s AI Scene Analysis and fed into the ThinkMedia AI platform, providing insights and understanding to enhance targeting such as:
- Hyper-personalised short form content or up-next trailers from content catalogues.
- Smarter ad placement and targeting with ThinkMediaAI’s contextual advertising and Bitmovin’s intelligent scene-aware ad marker insertion workflow.
- Scene-based discovery for search and recommendations boosting discovery and unlocking hidden value in content libraries.
