Vizrt has announced the release of Viz One 8.1.
Aiming to reduce the need for time-consuming manual processes, the media asset management platform now integrates with the aiconix DeepVA sovereign AI platform, driving automation and increasing speed and accuracy.
Visual understanding is added to archives and workflows through Viz One 8.1’s visual recognition, said the company. Faces, objects and scenes are automatically identified and tagged, enabling the rapid surfacing of content.
Automated metadata generation eliminates manual logging with teams able to review metadata logged by AI, train custom models for unknown entities and perform quality assurance reviews, added Vizrt.
A 50 per cent increase in logging accuracy is delivered, along with 10 times the speed in logging workflows and five times quicker search and discovery. The increase in efficiency “dramatically expands” reuse, compliance and monetisation possibilities for the content, said the company.
Esther Arroyo, CMO at aiconix, said, “Content creators need AI that works for their specific needs, not a one-size-fits-all solution. DeepVA’s ability to train custom models and generate structured, machine-readable metadata ensures Viz One customers can optimise their workflows and deliver more relevant, localised content to their audiences.”
Jochen Bergdolt, head of MAM at Vizrt, added, “Viz One 8.1 is the next step in our long-term vision to accelerate efficiencies. By combining Viz One’s proven reliability with intelligent automation, we’re giving customers the tools to work smarter today—and build stronger media operations for tomorrow.”
