Bitmovin drives natural language interaction with Agentic AI Hub

Combining several of Bitmovin's AI-powered tools, the solution aims to streamline workflow automation and offer enhanced viewer experiences

Bitmovin has debuted its Agentic AI Hub.

Created to streamline workflow automation for video providers and enhance viewer experiences, the Agentic AI Hub brings Bitmovin tools together alongside the company’s new Observability MCP server.

Vertical Short Form Clipping allows users to generate short form clips at scale with natural language prompts. The solution provides detection of highlights, reframing for vertical screens and subject-aware cropping. Optimised for fast turnaround and short-form use cases, Bitmovin’s VoD Encoder processes the clips ready for distribution, enabling content providers to extend their reach across platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts, driving viewers towards long form content.

With Voice Operated Seeking, scene level information is extracted by AI Scene Analysis allowing viewers to search for and interact with content by voice commands.

Building on the AI Scene Analysis tool, Summarization Companion enables streamers to provide request-on-demand summaries or catch-ups. Viewers can ask for additional information by voice command without leaving the stream. The solution aims to deliver a more natural way for viewers to interact with the content as they watch.

Jacob Arends, senior product manager at Bitmovin, said, “We’re incredibly excited to release the Agentic AI Hub, which brings Bitmovin’s products like AI Scene Analysis up to another level by generating new ways to engage viewers and create value. Furthermore, in the spirit of encouraging experimentation and accelerating the pace of innovation, the agentic tools used in these solutions will be available for developers to use via Bitmovin’s MCP servers, allowing video services full control to adapt and use in-house to create new workflows for their customers. This allows developers to focus more on pushing innovation forward.”
