Sky has announced that from next season it will offer its subscribers the ability to watch Premier League on-demand game highlights as well as mobile clips.
The UK’s satellite broadcaster, which won the rights to show 128 Premier League matches for three seasons from 2019/20, will offer in-game goals and clips for mobile devices from live matches and all other non-live games.
It will also offer catch up viewers extended highlights through its post match analysis shows Game of the Day and Match Choice.
Premier League executive chairman Richard Scudamore, said that Sky’s offerings gave viewers more choices over how and when they can consume the matches.
“Sky’s ability to complement these digital clip and on-demand rights with their extensive live-match coverage is great news for fans,” he added.
