BBC Studioworks will facilitate a special recording of Spain’s daily entertainment show El Hormiguero 3.0 as it travels to London for a one-off special with Will Smith.
The special, which also celebrates the show’s 2,000th episode, will be filmed in TC1 at Television Centre with Studioworks providing full studio and technical services as well as supporting the production with audio, engineering, electrical and scenic crews.
The show uses a four-camera configuration, as well as a super slow-motion camera, a polecam and minicams.
“After 13 years of live broadcasts, we’re proud to celebrate our 2,000th show in partnership with BBC Studioworks at its renowned Television Centre facility,” said Pablos Matos, presenter of El Hormiguero 3.0.”
The special with Will Smith is to promote the Hollywood stars latest role as the Genie in Disney’s Aladdin.
