This includes multiple in-car feeds, track information including temperature, race positions and a revolving Twitter feed. As well as the red button service, there is an iPad app for an even more immersive experience. “There is a huge amount of information being presented on screen, all via our LogoVision 3D playout unit – 2D and 3D graphics elements, live video and clips as well as the Twitter feed,” said James Gilbert of Pixel Power. “The Clarity 3Ds are used for template building – there are upwards of 25 units in total being used by Sky Sports. “Sky is one of the most innovative sports broadcasters in the world, as evidenced by the depth of the experience for the viewer,” Gilbert added. “We are very pleased our long-term relationship with Sky has led to our technology fulfilling a key role in providing an immersive viewer environment.”
