Dalet Flex creates digital highlights for France’s Ligue 1 and 2

The league will use Dalet Flex to ingest, prepare and publishing video highlights from both Ligue 1 and 2

France’s Ligue de Football Professionnel  has selected Dalet’s cloud-native media logistics platform Dalet Flex to prepare and deliver match highlights to fans via digital channels.

The league will use Dalet Flex to create highlights from both Ligue 1 and 2, including automating ingest, preparation and publishing videos to YouTube and Dailymotion.

LFP’s chief information officer, Olivier Imbert, said: “Given the workload of our team and the large amount of video we’re dealing with, we needed a solution that would transform our content management approach.

“Dalet Flex automates the ingest and publishing process so our team can refocus their time on assessing fan consumption patterns and developing new content revenue opportunities. In just a few months, Dalet Flex has become a tool the entire team here at LFP has embraced.”

Massoud Razzani, sales account manager, Dalet, added: [The LFP] were facing gaps in workflow management, process automation, and integration between tools, making it extremely challenging, resource-intensive and expensive to deliver the massive amounts of content fans have come to expect.

“Dalet Flex provides the integration and automation capabilities LFP required to be successful at a competitive price point. The user-friendly environment enabled LFP personnel, many of whom do not have a technical background, to adapt to the new tools and workflow quickly.”
