Cinemartin has announced the release next month of FLEC, the universal 15mm base plate for cameras and camcorders, video and photo. With X and Y variant or fixed adjustable positions, users can easily move position of the camera.
The FLEC system is composed of a 15mm universal baseplate (aluminium 6000 series) along with a top cover add on baseplate also available in fibre carbon, allowing for the adjustment of camera height and the attachment of accessories.
FLEC is the only baseplate that features load sharing/balance, the company claims, allowing the user to displace the weight more to front or back to compensate for heavy or longer configurations, for example, when using telephotos, longer zooms or larger lenses.
Available in several finishes, the FLEC universal baseplate is available to pre-order now, with shipments in August.
