Boutique studio operator Studio Fifty has entered a strategic partnership with Universal Production Services, which will become the exclusive lighting and equipment supplier for all Stage Fifty UK and European studios.
Universal Production Services offers a large inventory of LED lighting technology and traditional lighting fixtures, along with truss, motor, and other rigging equipment, with an emphasis on sustainable production practices.
Stage Fifty said the partnership marks a significant milestone in the company’s growth plan, prioritising client operations and delivering best-in-class creative and technical services.

Meanwhile, Stage Fifty has also revealed it is actively exploring growth opportunities across various European sites and is currently looking to develop facilities in Spain. The company is exploring new opportunities and structuring crew incentives to attract international productions to the Valencia and Murcia regions, it said.
The central focus of the expansion is essential production services, including lighting, rigging, virtual production, and specialist manufacturing facilities, added Stage Fifty.
