Both Quibi and Apple TV Plus have followed Disney Plus’s lead and picked up their first Emmy Awards.
Quibi’s #FreeRayshawn drama won awards for actors Laurence Fishburne and Jasmine Cephas Jones in the short-form category.
Meanwhile, Billy Crudup won the award for best supporting actor in a drama series for his work in Apple TV Plus’s The Morning Show.
Overall, HBO led the Emmy winners picking up 30 wins, compared to Netflix’s 21.
