The Department for Culture, Media and Sport is holding the #CreateUK week to celebrate the work of the UK creative industries and export industry figures. This week will highlight the range of employment opportunities across the sector. The initiative will also give people the chance to win a day behind the scenes at some of the UK’s leading creative employers including Carbon Digital.

The competition is taking place on social media. On Twitter, you simply need to tell @DCMS in a single tweet why you want to work in the creative industries, including @carbondigital in the answer and using the #CreativeCareers hashtag.

On Facebook, visit the DCMS page and reply to the post, using the hashtag and including @carbondigital in your answer.

Other creative businesses taking part in the competition include British Fashion Council, Sift, The Gate Films and Kogan Page.

“We are huge supporters of upcoming talent in our sector, working closely with local universities and taking work placement students regularly so we are delighted to be taking part in this fantastic initiative by the DCMS,” said Carbon Digital’s co-founder Sue McHugh.
