Mediagenix Curation drives personalisation at scale

Combining automation with human creativity, Mediagenix Curation aims to help users create smarter connections between content and audiences

Mediagenix has announced the launch of its Mediagenix Curation solution, aiming to enhance discovery and personalisation for media organisations and content owners.

Combining automation with editorial control, Curation aims to streamline content personalisation at scale. Blending human creativity with data-driven recommendations in a single, unified workflow, the solution provides users with direct control over content presentation, enhancing audience engagement and retention.

Intelligent automation enables the management of content presentation across streaming homepages, campaign pages and rails, while flexible ‘recipes’ blend content intelligence and personalisation to ensure experiences remain fresh as catalogues evolve, ensuring relevant content is delivered to audiences.

Teams are able to apply personalisation strategies while ensuring editorial intent is preserved, with the capability to preview and simulate experiences for different audience segments and devices, extending audience visibility into what viewers will encounter before going live.

As part of the wider Mediagenix ecosystem, Curation connects content presentation and audience experiences within the content lifecycle, creating a foundation for a more connected approach and informing content strategy and operational decisions.

Commenting, Patricia Blanco, product manager of Mediagenix On Demand and Curation, said, “Streaming has moved beyond the question of simply having great content; the challenge now is making sure every viewer can discover the right content at the right moment. That creates a tension between the scale and intelligence that automation can bring, and the editorial judgment that gives a service its identity.

“With Mediagenix Curation, we’re bringing those two forces together, giving editorial teams the control to shape the experience while using automation and personalisation to execute their strategy at scale. Over time, our ambition is to connect that viewer experience much more closely with the wider content lifecycle, so that what audiences discover and engage with can help inform how media companies plan, schedule and ultimately get more value from their content.”
