DTG Testing has announced TP Vision as the launch partner for its new DTG DVB-I test suite.
TP Vision focuses on the development, production and marketing of Philips television sets (Europe, Middle East, South America, India and selected countries in Asia-Pacific) and Philips audio products (worldwide).
It will work with DTG Testing on the test suite, which aims to provide comprehensive, reliable reference metadata and media streams as well as a suite of test cases to validate all aspects of the DVB-I specification.
According to DTG Testing, the metadata allows manufacturers and developers to create and deploy DVB-I clients with confidence, while the test portal allows testing and issues around faults to be carried out efficiently.
DTG Testing associate director Ranjeet Kaur said: “It’s fantastic news that TP Vision is securing its position as a market leader with this agreement. It’s a clear signal that it is a company that is not only preparing for an IP future, but driving us towards it.
