Norwegian broadcaster TV2 will begin offering matches from the English Premier League in 4K from November.
In total, TV2 plans to broadcast 76 matches in 4K during the season, kicking off with one match per round which will increase to two. The brpadcaster also plans to offer viewers 5.1 surround sound.
The first match to be broadcast in 4K will be Manchester United’s clash with Arsenal on 1st November.
“This is an important step for TV 2 which we know has been in demand from especially football fans,” said TV2’s digital director Christian Birkeland.
