After years of speculation, HBO Max finally has a launch date in the UK.
At an event in London, Casey Bloys, chairman and CEO of HBO and Max Content, revealed the streamer will debut in the UK and Ireland in “late March”.

HBO Max will also expand its European presence as it launches in Germany, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg, and Liechtenstein on January 13, 2026.
The European launch means HBO Max subscribers will be able to follow the Olympic Winter Games on the service, which will be made available to all subscribers across every plan.
The streaming service is already available in more than 100 territories, offering content from HBO, Warner Bros. Pictures, Warner Bros Television, the DC Universe and Max Originals.
Further details of the exact UK launch date have not been announced.
