NEP Europe has announced a new multi-year agreement as broadcast technical service provider for The Wimbledon Championships, alongside details of its ongoing work to support the 2026 tournament.
Building on its longstanding relationship with Wimbledon Broadcast Services (WBS), the agreement will see NEP continue to evolve host broadcast operations, extend IP-based production and enhance orchestration with NEP’s TFC broadcast control platform.

The 2026 deployment has expanded SMPTE ST 2110 infrastructure across The Championship grounds, with the TFC platform coordinating workflows, enabling agile production, streamlining replay operations and aiming to ensure efficient use of resources.
Two IP-powered UHD HDR OB units, a large-scale IP flypack serving 11 production galleries and seven automated courts and an integrated workflow featuring more than 150 cameras, 32 EVS replay servers, NEP’s MediaBank media asset management solution, graphics, quality control and new video review capabilities are supporting this year’s operation, alongside more than 350 engineering, operational and commercial specialists.
NEP’s AI-driven Tr-ACE robotic camera systems provide automated capture across courts 4-7 and 9-11, enabling a single operator to manage on-court coverage. Ultra-high quality 4K super slow-motion images are delivered by NEP’s Nucleus camera system, used for the first time on No.1 Court and Centre Court, aiming to deliver enhanced viewer experiences.
