Grass Valley has debuted a standalone all-in-one live production solution aiming to unify live production tools in a single streamlined system.
Designed to meet the needs of a wide range of live production use cases, including sports, live events, the all-in-one system aims to reduce complexity while delivering greater flexibility to teams, said the company.
AVORA provides teams with an ecosystem to prepare, produce and deliver live content, from switching and graphics to audio, remote guests, content, replay and delivery. Resources can be prepared, saved, duplicated and recalled as a complete show, moving between recurring events without the need to rebuild the workflow every time.
Jonathan Lyth, product director for live applications at Grass Valley, said, “AVORA answers a very clear market need. Production teams increasingly need professional capability, operational simplicity and the flexibility to scale around the show. AVORA brings the whole live production together in one system, giving teams a simpler way to create, operate and repeat sophisticated live productions.”
Supporting both visual, shot-based production and traditional programme/preset operation, AVORA allows operators to work in the way that best suits the production, said Grass Valley. Multiple roles can work across the same system from their own browser interfaces.
Remote guests can join via private invitation links, with low-latency connectivity, mix-minus and talkback built directly into the workflow. Graphics, content and prompting are integrated, while replay, recording, monitoring, playout and delivery extend AVORA into a complete live production environment.
AVORA provides existing AMPP users with an additional option to introduce a standalone system where production requirements demand.
