The EBU Academy is working with the Eurovision Song Contest and host broadcaster SSR SRG and its broadcaster for German-speaking Switzerland, SRF, on a series of special masterclasses which will take place in Basel during Finals Week.
In a first for the EBU Academy, the masterclasses will give journalists, content creators and influencers advice on how to sharpen their skillsets as well as tips and techniques that can be used in reporting.
The four masterclasses include sessions on creating quality video with a smartphone, how to use AI in journalism, and ways to be more creative in storytelling.
Head of EBU Academy, Justin Kings said: “If you’re visiting Basel, this is a great opportunity to upskill on relevant and valuable areas of work. An added and lasting benefit of being part of the Eurovision Song Content experience 2025! There’ll also be a chance to network with colleagues from across Europe after each class.”
