intoPIX has announced Doteck has integrated its JPEG XS technology.
Embedding the intoPIX JPEG XS codec into its R8 and R4 series of ST 2110 UHD encoders, Donteck said the solution offers a significant improvement in ST 2110 bandwidth efficiency while ensuring the integrity and precision of original videos is maintained. The integration aims to meet the requirements of users handling uncompressed or high resolution content.
Designed for real-time ST 2110 JPEG XS IP extension of 4x 12G-SDI, 6G-SDI, or 3G/HD/SD-SDI video signals, the R8 1U encoder supports up to 8K resolutions, delivering visually lossless quality and ultra-low latency, said the company. The R4 series provides flexible encoding and transcoding for up to 4K UHD, with support for various SDI configurations.
