BBright selects Leader for IP validation

The company said the LV7600W rasterizer will play a pivotal role in validation for ST 2110 IP across decoders, playout systems and in Ultra HD HDR

Leader Electronics has announced BBright has deployed its LV7600W rasterizer.

In response to customer demand from broadcasters and service providers, the Brittany-based media processing and monitoring technology provider is aiming to support its ST 2110 IP validation processes, enhancing its T&M inventory with the Leader solution.

A ‘True Hybrid’ compatible with 4K/HD/SD-SDI and UHDTV/HD/SD IP signals, the LV7600W rasterizer is part of the ZEN-W series. Its deployment reflects the growing importance of IP to broadcasting and media delivery, including the widespread adoption of standards such as SMPTE ST 2110, said the company. Playing a pivotal role in validation for ST 2110 IP across decoders, playout systems and in Ultra HD HDR, the solution features a fully customisable screen layout, with waveform, vector, picture, audio and eye pattern displays enabling QC and measurements across a broad range of video and audio formats.

Guillaume Arthuis, founder and managing director of BBright, said, “Competition in the video analyser market is intense, but the Leader product stands out, especially with its advanced alarm system and long-term analysis capabilities. These unique features empower us to deliver unmatched precision in signal timing, ensuring our customers receive the highest level of accuracy and reliability.”

Martin Mulligan, COO of Leader Electronics of Europe, added, “BBright has an enviable track-record for remaining ahead of technological advancements in the perpetually dynamic broadcast environment, so it’s no surprise that ST 2110 and IP in general is increasingly integral to their offering. With their new Leader rasterizer, BBright now has a comprehensive set of tools to validate ST 2110 across its product range.”
