Alongside its sales and support partner X-Pert Multimedia Solutions, Athensa is showcasing playout and automation features as part of demonstrations of its Athensa Playout, Graphics and Ingest products.
Alongside a new user interface designed to improve performance and offer customisation op-tions, Athensa has also added AJA support to its platforms to give customers a greater choice of video cards when acquiring their next server. RTMP support along with HEVC/h.265 sup-port is now also available.
NewTek NDI support for Athensa Playout is new at IBC 2017, alongside multichannel CPU consumption optimisation, so that multiple instances can run together in a single Core i7 CPU, when providing both SDI and IP streaming outputs.
Also new is the support of audio-only content within Athensa Playout, for radio playout automation purposes, as well as the support of encrypted audio and/or video content and the complete integration of the platform with WideOrbit traffic systems.
Other products on display include Athensa graphics, Channel-in-a-Box and Athensa Com-mercial Insertion for targeted advertising.
