Please explain what your Accelerator project is in as much detail as possible.
FRAMES aims to prove an end-to-end intelligent media production framework that dissolves traditional silos by standardising archival asset management and its metadata and enforcing Zero Trust security.
Captured and archive material transforms in a structured, interoperable environment where agentic AI can automate tagging, enhancement, and semantic retrieval.
The core challenge objective: To be able to use a knowledge graph and a common semantic model to increase visibility into the production process, allowing clearer and better trade-offs between creativity, time, and budget.
Who is involved in the project?
Champions: EBU, ITV, ETC/USC, XRBB, BBC, RAI, MovieLabs, INSA National Institute of Applied Science.
Participants: AMD/HP, Enigmatic, Streamline Media, Eddie AI, AIMICI.

Why do you believe the project is important for the media industry?
Media production has become increasingly disintermediated, with elements of production and post production spread across multiple production and post production systems. Although the industry has a common language and concepts and ideas are fairly easily communicated in person, face to face, the same is not true for the multiple computer-based systems used throughout the progression from glass to glass. Most systems have implemented extensive support for metadata, most of which is discarded when media is moved from one system to another. This makes it nearly impossible to get a quick and easy-to-grasp view of the progress of any production as a whole.
What’s been the biggest challenge you’ve faced as part of your project?
The biggest challenge has been finding a way to capture valuable information generated throughout the production process and present it in a human-understandable way.
Why did you want to be part of this year’s IBC Accelerator programme?
Streamline core is a graph database, capturing all the essential information related to a project: participants, file versions, tasks, and ownership and attribution. We felt this project was a perfect fit for what we have built.
What can IBC Show attendees expect to see from you in Amsterdam?
A knowledge graph view of the processes, tasks, and media used in the creation of a short animated film, showing early exchange of ideas, how files were shared and used, and the steps that led to the finished work.
