A+E Networks expands H2 distribution in Poland and Croatia

Channel is now available in over 600,000 new homes across the two countries following deals with Vectra and Hrvatski Telekom

A+E Networks has expanded the distribution of its factual entertainment channel H2 in Poland and Croatia.

From this month, H2 is available in over 600,000 new homes across the two countries following deals with platform partners Vectra and Hrvatski Telekom respectively.

The distribution expansions were announced by Izabella Wiley, general manager Poland and Central & Eastern Europe at A+E Networks (pictured).

“We are delighted to launch H2 with Vectra in Poland and on Hrvatski Telekom in Croatia,” said Wiley. “H2 is a fantastic channel that has seen a tremendous increase in popularity and demand among our affiliate partners and viewers alike. This latest development demonstrates our commitment to grow our business across all CEE countries.”

H2, which is now available in over three million homes across Poland and Croatia, launched internationally in 2013 as a partner channel to HISTORY.

It is available on Vectra’s Platinum and Super HD packages and on Hrvatski Telekom’s MaxTV tier, giving viewers access to a wide range of shows including new seasons of Ancient Aliens, America’s Book of Secrets and The Universe, as well as upcoming series History’s Most Hated, exploring the lives of Genghis Khan, Napoleon Bonaparte and Stalin.
