TVBEurope moves to new hybrid editorial schedule

From October, TVBEurope will produce eight standard publications per year, with one print publication and one digital edition in each quarter

TVBEurope  is moving to a hybrid content model that will see the introduction of a new schedule of print and digital publications produced every quarter.

From 1st October, TVBEurope will produce eight standard publications per year, with one print publication and one digital edition in each quarter.

The split strategy will enable TVBEurope to continue to offer deeper and more expansive coverage of the wider broadcast marketplace through its print publications, while the digital editions focus on specific production and technology areas such as live streaming, UHD/HDR, cloud services, security, and more.

“This is a very important evolution in our strategy as we build for the long-term future of TVBEurope, and its role in an increasingly digital professional broadcast environment,” said James McKeown, group content director, B2B at Future.

“Though we are making these changes during quite exceptional times, we make them using the future as the catalyst just as much as the present. We’ve regularly sought the counsel of our readers and supporters about their preferences and realities and while print continues to have a role, our new hybrid model will allow us to more appropriately meet the needs of our audience, advertisers, and partners via the channels, and at the times, that serve them most effectively.”

The new content model will see even greater focus placed on TVBEurope‘s website which will soon be moving onto a new advanced platform. “The strategy more meaningfully focuses on driving a richer stream of digital and website content to keep our audience informed and help them to make better decisions in their day-to-day world of work,” McKeown continued. “The need for real-time information in our changing world has never been more acute, and the most effective and appropriate way to deliver that insight is through our digital channels, so investing in them is a priority.”

The TVBEurope editorial team will continue to produce both Daily and Weekly newsletters featuring key industry news and unique in-depth content from the website. Details of how to subscribe to both the Daily and Weekly newsletters are available here.
