Subtitling technology company Screen Systems has appointed DoCaption as its French distributor.
Specialising in professional subtitle and caption creation software and subtitle transmission systems, Screen supplies solutions globally to broadcasters and has a network of 19 distributors throughout Europe, the Middle East, APAC, Australasia and Canada.
“Screen has been working with Renaud Desportes of DoCaption on various projects for a number of years and we see his appointment as a distributor as a natural progression,” commented SVP of international sales at Screen, Keith Lucas.
“We share the same views on customer service and both view commitment to the end customer as paramount. I am so very pleased that we have reached an agreement for his company to represent Screen’s entire product range in France and to invigorate our already strong presence in the country.”
Established in 2009 by a team of broadcast specialists with embedded hardware and software integration experience, DoCaption’s expertise spans multi-standard subtitling, ancillary data encoding, insertion, extraction and decoding and intellectual property development and consolidation.
On the appointment by Screen, Renaud Desportes (pictured), said: “DoCaption’s team is also very pleased by this agreement which consolidates the excellent relationship we already had with Screen, and underlines a promising synergy.”
