ITN appoints Rachel Corp as new CEO

She will take over from current CEO Deborah Turness on 1st September

Rachel Corp has been appointed as the new chief executive of ITN, taking over from Deborah Turness.

Corp is currently editor of ITV News, and has overseen the broadcaster’s reporting of the Westminster Partygate scandal; as well as its eyewitness report from inside the storming of the US Capitol.

She is also chair of ITN’s cross-company Digital Development Group, driving collaboration to improve performance and develop new products and commercial opportunities.

Corp will take up her new role on 1st September and will lead a team of over 300 people in the UK and abroad.

Speaking about her appointment, Corp said: “Having worked across ITN for over three decades, I am delighted and honoured to be taking the reins as CEO at such a crucial time for news and journalism, as well as an incredibly exciting stage of the company’s wider development with so many ambitious projects on the horizon across TV production, sports, events and advertising to name just a few. ITN has a huge wealth of talent and creativity and I am so proud to be leading the organisation I care passionately about into its next chapter.”
